Look at the Cuts
Each shell is split by dark lines. If every piece is the same size, it is fair. If one piece is bigger, leave it.
Scoop the Fair Ones
Tap a fair shell. It becomes a pearl and scores. Tap a crooked shell and you lose a life.
Clear the Wave
When every fair shell is a pearl, the pool washes and six new shells land in the same sockets.
Ride Eight Waves
Eight cleared waves win. Three misses end the run.
A Tide Pool, Not a Quiz
Six rock sockets stay put. Fair shells turn into pearls when you scoop them. Crooked shells fade if you tap them. The board never jumps.
Fair Means Same-Size Pieces
A fair shell is cut into matching pieces. A crooked shell has one piece bigger than the rest. Scoop only the fair ones.
Waves of Shells
Clear every fair shell and a new wave washes in. Easy has two fair shells. Medium has three. Hard has four.
Eight Waves
Each scoop scores 100 plus a streak bonus. Eight waves win. Three bad scoops end the run.
Shell Shares is a third-grade equal-parts game set in a tide pool. Players scoop shells that are cut into equal pieces and leave the crooked ones. The skill is seeing that a fair share is equal parts of a whole.
You Touch the Shells
There is no answer row of numbers. The pieces live in the pool. Scooping a fair shell changes the board.
Crooked Cuts Stay Obvious
One fat piece next to a thin piece is not fair. Matching halves and thirds are.
A Steady Stage
The HUD, hint, and six sockets keep the same height. Feedback is overlays, not layout.
Touch First
Each socket is a big tap target. No drag.
Tap every shell whose pieces are the same size. Leave any shell where one piece is bigger.
It turns into a pearl and scores. When no fair shells are left, a new wave lands.
How many fair shells sit in the pool, and how many pieces those shells have.
No. Tap a shell in its socket.
Second through fourth grade (about ages 7–10), when students learn that fractions are equal parts of a whole.
