How to Play Sky Clock

  1. 1

    Listen to Tutu

Sky Clock starts on its own. Tutu calls a time such as 3 o'clock or half past 7. Easy, Medium, or Hard stay on the kite so you can switch the sky without a menu.

  2. 2

    Scan the rain

Clock clouds fall through the rain. The prompt says Tap the matching clock. Read the short hand and the long hand on each analog face.

  3. 3

    Tap the matching clock

Tap the cloud whose clock matches Tutu. A hit blooms a rainbow and adds Arcs. A wrong tap or a clock that falls past costs a raindrop.

  4. 4

Catch eight to clear the sky

Catch eight matching clocks to win, or keep going until the raindrops are gone. Sky clears shows your Arcs score, a rank, and Call Tutu to start again.

Key Features

  • Falling clock clouds

Rain clouds drift down with analog clocks on them. Tap the matching clock before it falls past. A hit turns the cloud into a rainbow. A miss flashes storm purple and costs a raindrop.

  • Tutu calls the time

Tutu says the time out loud and shows it on the kite banner as 3 o'clock or half past 3. Tap Tutu to hear it again. The prompt always says Tap the matching clock.

  • Arcs score and streak

Each catch adds to Arcs, grows a streak, and pops points off the cloud. Let the matching clock fall or tap a wrong clock and the streak resets.

  • Difficulty that changes the sky

Easy uses hours only, two slow clouds, and numbered faces. Medium adds half past and a third cloud. Hard drops four faster clouds and hides the numerals so you read the hands.

What is Sky Clock?

Sky Clock is a first-grade telling-time game. Tutu calls a time. Rain clouds fall with analog clocks. Kids tap the matching clock and turn that cloud into a rainbow. Easy stays on the hour. Medium and Hard add half past. The skill is reading analog clocks to the hour and half hour, not picking a quiz card.

Why Play Sky Clock?

  • 1

    Hour and half hour

First-grade math asks kids to tell time to the hour and half hour. Sky Clock makes that a scan of falling analog clocks, not a worksheet.

  • 2

    Listen, then look

Tutu speaks 3 o'clock or half past 3 and writes the same words on the banner, so kids connect the spoken time to the clock hands.

  • 3

    Instant sky feedback

The right cloud becomes a rainbow and raises Arcs. A miss shakes the cloud. Kids see the rule without waiting for a Done button.

  • 4

Works on a finger or a mouse

Tap a falling cloud. Touch targets stay large, and Tutu's banner replays the time if you want to hear it again.

Frequently Asked Questions

What times appear in Sky Clock?

Easy uses hours only, such as 3 o'clock and 7 o'clock. Medium and Hard add half past, such as half past 3. Hard also hides the 12, 3, 6, and 9 numerals so you read the hands.

How do I score Arcs points?

Each matching tap starts at 100 Arcs and grows by 50 with a streak. A wrong tap or a matching clock that falls past resets the streak and costs one of three raindrops.

What does Tap the matching clock mean?

Tutu calls a time. Scan the falling analog clocks and tap the one that shows that time. The short hand marks the hour. The long hand sits on 12 for o'clock and on 6 for half past.

What changes on Hard?

Four clouds fall faster, hour and half-past times mix, and the clock faces show ticks instead of numerals.

What grade is Sky Clock for?

Sky Clock is first-grade telling-time practice. Kindergarten can play Easy on the hour. Second grade can step up to Medium and Hard for half past and unmarked faces.
