How to Play Anagram Solver

    Pick a Category & Difficulty

    Choose your theme and difficulty. Easy has short 3-5 letter words; Hard has 8+ letter words with only 30 seconds on the clock.

    Unscramble the Letters

    You'll see scrambled letter tiles. Click them in the correct order to fill the answer slots and form the hidden word.

    Submit Your Answer

    Once all slots are filled, hit Submit. Green means correct! If wrong, the tiles return to the pool so you can try again.

    Earn Points & Build a Streak

    Points = time remaining + 5 × streak. Chain correct answers to multiply your score. Don't let the timer run out!

What is an Anagram Game?

An anagram is a word or phrase formed by rearranging the letters of another word. In this game, a secret word is chosen and its letters are shuffled randomly. Your goal is to click the scrambled tiles in the right order to reconstruct the original word before the timer runs out. Frequently Asked Questions

How do I place a letter?

Click any scrambled letter tile in the pool to move it to the next empty answer slot. Click a placed letter in the answer area to send it back to the pool.

What happens if my answer is wrong?

The tiles shake and return to the pool so you can try again. The timer keeps running, so work quickly!

How does scoring work?

Your score for each correct answer = seconds remaining on the timer + (5 × your current streak). Chain multiple correct words without skipping to build your streak multiplier.

What does the Hint button do?

The Hint button automatically places one correct letter into the right answer slot. You get 3 hints per word — use them wisely!

What is the Shuffle button for?

Shuffle rearranges the tiles remaining in the pool. Sometimes seeing the letters in a different order sparks the answer.

How many words are in the game?

There are 30 words per category × 6 categories = 180+ words, plus a Mixed mode that draws from all categories. Difficulty filters words by length so you'll encounter different words at each level.
