Spelling Bee is a word puzzle where you are given 7 letters arranged in a honeycomb. One letter sits in the center and must be included in every word you form. Words must be at least 4 letters long and can only use the 7 given letters (letters may be reused). A pangram — a word that uses all 7 letters — earns bonus points. Can I reuse letters in a word?
Yes! Each of the 7 letters can be used as many times as you want within a single word. For example, if your letters include T, you can spell TOOT.
How is scoring calculated?
4-letter words score 1 point each. Words of 5+ letters score their length (e.g., a 6-letter word = 6 points). Pangrams add a +7 bonus on top.
What do the difficulty levels change?
Easy mode includes only common, well-known words. Medium adds a wider vocabulary. Hard uses the full dictionary with uncommon words.
How do hints work?
You get 3 hints per puzzle. Each hint reveals the first 2 letters of a random unfound word, pre-filling them in the input. You still need to complete the word yourself.
