How to run a class on BrowserFun
BrowserFun is a set of free browser games you can run as a class. You sign in. Students do not. You paste names once, assign games, and put a 4-letter code on the board. Results stay on each student so you can copy them into a gradebook.
Why teachers use a class instead of a game link
A shared game link works for a demo. A class keeps the same names tomorrow, limits what students see, and records best and last scores per game. Kids never create an account, and you do not need Google Classroom, student emails, or a paid plan.
The four steps
Create a class
Sign in with an adult account. Name the period. You can keep up to 20 classes.
Paste the roster
Names only. Same name is the same student. Add a last initial if two kids share a first name. Up to 40 names.
Assign games
Pick up to 12 games. Students only see what you assigned. Change the set whenever you want.
Share the code
Students open the join page, type the 4-letter code, tap their name, and play. You watch results live.

Questions teachers ask
- Do students need an account?
- No. Students type a class code, tap their name, and play in the browser. Only the teacher signs in.
- Is BrowserFun free for classrooms?
- Yes. Creating classes, assigning games, and exporting results does not require a paid plan.
- Do I need Google Classroom or student emails?
- No. A roster is a list of names. Students never enter an email.
- Where do scores go?
- Each student’s best and last score stays on that class. Open the class to read the table, project the board, or download a CSV.
