Assign games to a class
Students only see the games you assign. You can start with one game for a warm-up or a short set for stations. Change the list whenever the lesson changes.
Open the class and use the Games tab. Filter by subject or grade if you want a shorter list. A class can hold up to 12 games. That limit keeps the student page simple on a phone or a shared laptop.
You can also assign from a game you are already previewing. Use Add to class on the game page, pick the period, and save. That is the faster path when you found a game while planning.
Assigned games are what students see after they join. If you remove a game, it disappears from their list. Past scores for that game stay on the student so you can still read them.
Games run in the browser. Students do not install an app. For class scores to record, they should open the game from the class play page after they have joined.
How to assign games
Open the class
Go to your classes and open the period you want to run.
Pick games
Use the Games tab, or Add to class on a game page. Stay at or under 12.
Check the student view
Join with a test name if you want to see exactly what the class will see.
Tips
- One game is enough for the first day. Add more after you have seen the join flow work.
- Browse by subject or grade from the teachers page if you are still choosing.
- If the class already has 12 games, remove one before you add another.
Questions teachers ask
- Can I assign different games to different classes?
- Yes. Each class has its own list. Period 2 and Period 3 do not have to match.
- Do students see every game on BrowserFun?
- Not from the class page. They only see the games you assigned.
