Pitch Yank Game for High and Low Tones

Kite Lift

A bleached dune and a coral kite on twine. A tone plays High or Low. Yank the kite by dragging it, then release in the High cloud band or the Low dune band to match the tone. A Nice lift! snaps the kite into the band and grows Score and Streak. A Flutter! drops the kite and costs a life. Ten Lifts or three misses end the run. Easy uses far octaves and a slow tone. Medium is G3 vs D5. Hard is closer still with a short tone.

Key Features

  • Yank the kite

Drag the kite or the twine up or down. Release in the High cloud band or the Low dune band. There are no High or Low buttons — the Yank is the move.

  • Match High or Low

A tone plays first. High is the bright cloud band. Low is the sand. A Nice lift! snaps the kite in. A Flutter! drops it, resets the Streak, and costs a life.

  • Score, Streak, and Lifts

Each Nice lift! adds Score and grows the Streak. Point pops fly off the kite. Lifts counts the snaps. Best is saved for Easy, Medium, and Hard.

  • Difficulty that changes the pitch

Easy uses far octaves and a slow tone. Medium is G3 vs D5. Hard is closer still with a short tone. Ten Lifts reach 10 lifts done.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I Yank the kite?

Drag the kite or the twine up or down, then release in the High cloud band or the Low dune band. Do not tap two buttons — the Yank is the move.

What do High and Low mean?

A high tone belongs in the High cloud band. A low tone belongs in the Low dune band. Match the tone you hear.

How do Score, Streak, and Lifts work?

A Nice lift! adds Score and grows the Streak. Lifts counts snaps. A Flutter! resets the Streak and costs one of three lives. Best is saved per difficulty.

What changes on Hard?

Hard uses pitches that sit closer together and a short tone. You have less time to Yank. Easy keeps far octaves and a slow tone. Medium is G3 vs D5.
