How to Play Wordle

    🟩 Green = right letter, right spot. 🟨 Yellow = right letter, wrong spot. ⬛ Gray = letter not in the word.

What is Wordle?

Wordle is a word puzzle game where you try to guess a hidden 5-letter English word in 6 attempts. After each guess, the tiles change color to give you clues: green tiles mean a correct letter in the correct position, yellow tiles mean the letter is in the word but in the wrong position, and gray tiles mean the letter doesn't appear in the word at all. This free Wordle clone lets you play unlimited times with a random word each game, track your statistics, and share your results.

Is every word a common English word?

Yes! The word bank contains over 200 common, well-known English words so you'll never get an obscure word you've never heard of.

Can I use my physical keyboard?

Absolutely! Just start typing letters on your keyboard. Press Enter to submit and Backspace to delete. The on-screen keyboard is also fully functional.

What do the colors mean?

Green (🟩) = correct letter in the correct position. Yellow (🟨) = the letter is in the word but in the wrong position. Gray (⬛) = the letter is not in the word at all.

How are stats tracked?

Your stats (games played, wins, win rate, streak, and guess distribution) are tracked in your current browser session. They reset when you close the browser.

Can I share my result?

Yes! After each game, click the Share button in the stats panel to copy an emoji grid of your guesses to your clipboard.

Is there a daily word?

This clone uses random words for unlimited play rather than a fixed daily word. A new random word is selected every time you click Play Again.
