Course
3rd Grade AI: Creative AI Explorer
Write clear prompts, make stories and pictures with AI, and check what it gets wrong.
Work through the lessons in order. By the end, you can say that generative AI makes new text, pictures, or sounds, and compare a person's work and an AI's work. You can pick the clearer prompt, add context, and change a prompt to get a better answer. You can plan a story, ask AI for ideas, and write the story in your own words. You can write a prompt for a picture, give credit, find a fact that AI made up, and share a storybook that shows how AI helped.
How to use these lessons
- Start at the lesson marked Do this. Go on when you can do the line under the title by yourself.
- Play the Games first. Then take the Quizzes. Eight of ten correct passes. The Worksheets are on paper. The answers are at the bottom.
- A short turn is enough. If a lesson is hard, do the one before it again.
- Use AI tools only with a teacher or a parent, on a site made for your age. Keep your story ideas in a notebook. Never type your name, your address, or your school into an AI tool.
Each lesson has games, quizzes, and worksheets.
