Count to 1,000, add and take away within 100, and tell time to five minutes.

Work through the lessons in order. By the end, you can count to 1,000, read the numerals, and show a number as hundreds, tens, and ones. You can add and take away within 100, and add and take away a three-digit number. You can say ten more or one hundred more, put numbers in order, and point to the true sign. You can count equal groups, read a length, tell time to the nearest five minutes, and count coins. You can point to a shape or a solid, point to the equal half, third, or fourth, and say how many a tally, a picture graph, or a bar shows.

How to use these lessons

  • Start at the lesson marked Do this. Go on when you can do the line under the title by yourself.
  • Play the Games first. Then take the Quizzes. Eight of ten correct passes. The Worksheets are on paper. The answers are at the bottom.
  • A short turn is enough. If a lesson is hard, play the one before it again.
  • Say the numbers out loud. For five minutes, use a real clock. For the coins, use a penny, a nickel, a dime, and a quarter. For the ruler, use a real ruler. For fair shares, fold a paper.

Each lesson has games, quizzes, and worksheets.
