Read and export class results
Each student, each game, best score and last try. Watch the table while they play, project a board, or copy the numbers into a gradebook.
Open the class and use the Results tab. Cells fill after a student has joined and finished a game from the class list. Empty cells usually mean they have not played that game yet, or they opened a public game link instead of the class link.
The projector board is a separate page meant for a screen the whole room can see. Use it when you want names and progress up without showing the roster editor. The Results tab is the working view for you: sort, copy, and export.
Copy the table or download a CSV per game. That file is for your gradebook or a spreadsheet. BrowserFun is not a learning management system and does not replace your school’s gradebook.
Results stay on the class attached to your account. Students do not get a results login. If you archive the class, you can still read past scores after you open it again.
How to collect scores
Have students join first
Scores attach to the name they tapped. A guest play from a public link will not land on the roster.
Open Results or the board
Use the Results tab to work. Use the board page when you want the room to see progress.
Copy or download
Copy the table or download a CSV for the game you want to record.
Tips
- Leave Results open on your laptop while the board is on the projector.
- Best and last are both stored. Use best for a high-score day and last for a single try.
- If one name stays blank, that student likely skipped the join page.
Questions teachers ask
- Can I export scores for my gradebook?
- Yes. Copy the results table or download a CSV for a game, then paste it into your gradebook.
- Why is a student’s row empty?
- They have not played that assigned game after joining, or they used a public game link. Have them join again and open the game from the class list.
